Mandermoni

Mandarmani beach is an enchanting and alluring destination that holds a special appeal for nature lovers. Its mesmerizing beauty captivates the senses, making it an ideal spot for families seeking an unforgettable vacation. The beach's vast expanse of golden sands stretching alongside the sparkling waters of the Bay of Bengal provides a breathtaking backdrop for leisurely strolls, sunbathing, and building sandcastles with the kids. Tajpur

A pretty good and safe beach that is both wide and clean and having shacks that serve delicious steaming lunch comprising of Indian chicken, sea fish, crabs etc. cooked in a clean way and at a reasonable price. Red crabs swarm the broad beach lined with sand dunes. Easily approachable from Digha and Kharagpur but the road is in a bad shape. A big Car Parking area and Pay & Use Toilet available. During low tide the sea recedes two Kms. A few lodges and resorts have come up recently but not many tourists stay overnight.

JUNPUT

Junput is 10 km from Contai; it also has a beautiful sea beach. The place offers spectacular sea-view and lines of casuarina trees. The beach is unspoilt. Brackish water fish cultivation and research are done here by the State Government Fisheries Department. For accommodation, there is an Inspection Bungalow under the Superintendent of Fisheries and a few private hotels.

DIGHA

Digha is a coastal resort town in the east Indian state of West Bengal. The dune-backed Old Digha Sea Beach faces the Bay of Bengal. Close by, the Marine Aquarium and Regional Centre (MARC) is home to sharks, rays and sea snakes. To the west, inland from sandy New Digha Sea Beach, leafy Amarabati Park surrounds a lake. West of town, the white-domed Chandaneswar Shiv Temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
